It all began in 2020 when Sonny Axnick watched Australian Ninja Warrior for the first time. The intense athleticism and mental toughness of the competitors captivated him, sparking an immediate passion for the sport. Inspired by what he saw on screen, Sonny made the decision to take his fitness journey to the next level. He began training regularly at his local gym, Urban Xtreme, which specialized in obstacle course training and Ninja Warrior-style challenges.

Sonny’s dedication and drive soon turned into a competitive spirit as he started participating in events and pushing himself to new physical limits. With each training session, he grew stronger and more skilled, consistently refining his technique. Over time, Urban Xtreme became not only his training ground but also a community where he could connect with like-minded athletes who shared his passion for obstacle courses and ninja training.

As Sonny’s journey continued, his connection with Urban Xtreme only deepened, and he became an integral part of the gym's culture. Today, he still trains at Urban Xtreme, continuing to challenge himself and hone his skills. His journey took a major turn when David Lack, the founder of Koga Sport, decided to hand over the reins of the business. Inspired by his own experiences in the sport and the community, Sonny saw an opportunity to carry forward Koga Sport's legacy of providing high-quality ninja training equipment and apparel.

With the transition, the brand was reimagined as Echo Sport, keeping the core mission intact while expanding its range of products and services to better serve the needs of athletes.
